Pricing FAQ

What to know before you choose.

What is available today?

Dev Tier and Single Business are both live today -- sign up free, then upgrade to Single Business from Plan & billing whenever you outgrow shared infrastructure. Multi-Business and Agency are next up in development; contact us to discuss either ahead of its own availability.

What actually changes between tiers?

Dev Tier shares infrastructure with other accounts. Single Business gets its own dedicated, isolated ledger. Multi-Business extends that same dedicated isolation to several businesses under one account. Agency adds a management dashboard for administering many separate client businesses — built for firms, not a single owner.

Where should we start?

The Dev Tier. It's the current way to explore LedgerWriter with your team and connected workflows.

Which tier is right for us?

The right answer depends on how many businesses you need to run through LedgerWriter, and whether you're managing your own books or a client's. We can help you choose.

We are thinking about switching off QuickBooks or a similar tool. Is now a good time?

If a leaner cost structure is part of your plan for the year ahead, switching before your next renewal is worth doing. LedgerWriter's Dev Tier costs nothing to start, so there's no setup cost standing between you and a cleaner record.
